Winter is almost over, and the Kamloops Players are ready to usher in the new season! We are proud to present the hilarious side-splitting farce chock full of kooky characters, mistaken identities, and slamming doors! It’s 1953 and George and Charlotte Hay are far removed from their glory days of Broadway, doing repertory theatre. Problems abound, including cast issues, financial woes, and an unwanted pregnancy, plus their daughter has arrived with her new fiancee. But a dream opportunity presents itself and the Hays have a new shot at stardom… if only they can get through the matinee!

ACCEPTING PLAY PROPOSALS
We are seeking Directors and Producers who are interested in putting on a dramatic play for our 5th Annual Fall into Drama in fall 2026.
Proposals must include:
- Synopsis and script of the play
- Bios for both the Director and Producer(s)
- Proposed production schedule (Auditions, Preferred Rehearsal schedule, tech, etc.)
- A budget for the production
- The proponents must follow the KPS Production Manual
The Director is ultimately responsible for all artistic decisions in the production. The Producer oversees the administrative, financial, and organizational aspects of a production. Kamloops Players Society funds the production.
Deadline to submit is April 30, 2026. Proposals and questions can be emailed to info@kamloopsplayers.ca. We would be happy to guide you through the process of creating the proposal.
